Security & Safety

How MemeFamily keeps your coins and SOL safe, in plain words. Every claim with a link can be checked by you on the blockchain.

๐Ÿ” How coins are made

  • Built on Meteora, a public Solana program

New coins on MemeFamily are created with Meteora's open-source bonding curve program. MemeFamily doesn't run its own custom contract for these coins, and it can't move anyone's coins or SOL.

  • One public settings account for every coin

Fees, supply and graduation rules are stored on-chain in one settings account that every coin uses. Anyone can check it. It can't be changed for coins that already exist.

๐Ÿช™ Every coin on MemeFamily

  • Fixed supply, forever

Every coin has exactly 1,000,000,000 tokens. Nobody can create more later: the power to mint is removed when the coin is created.

  • Canโ€™t be frozen

No one can freeze your coins or stop you from selling them. Coins have no freeze power and are plain Solana tokens with no hidden extras.

  • Name and image are locked

A coinโ€™s name, ticker and image canโ€™t be changed after launch, so nobody can swap them for something misleading.

  • Fair start for everyone

No presale and no hidden team tokens. Coins start on a public bonding curve, and everyone buys at the same curve price.

  • Your SOL is locked in the curve

The SOL people pay stays in the coinโ€™s pool on Meteora. No one, including MemeFamily and the creator, can withdraw it. It only moves when someone sells, or when the coin graduates.

  • Liquidity locked forever at graduation

When about 85 SOL is in the curve, the coin graduates: its SOL and remaining tokens move into a Meteora pool, and 100% of that pool's liquidity is permanently locked, so it can never be pulled out.

  • Buy or sell any time

You can trade whenever you like, on the curve before graduation and in the Meteora pool after.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Anti-scam checks

  • No copycat names

Names and tickers of well-known coins (like SOL, USDC, BONK or PEPE) can't be used, including lookalikes such as B0NK, extra spaces, symbols or letters from other alphabets.

  • Creator history warning

If a coin's creator made earlier coins that were dumped by the creator soon after launch, the coin page shows a warning so you can decide for yourself.

  • Report button

Every coin has a Report button. Reports are reviewed, and coins that break the rules are hidden.

๐Ÿ’ธ Fees, shown openly

  • Same fees for everyone

Every buy and sell on the curve pays 1.5%: 0.3% goes to the coin's creator, about 0.9% to MemeFamily and 0.3% to Meteora. After graduation, the Meteora pool's own trading fee applies. Fees are shown before you confirm a trade.

โš ๏ธ Explore coins

  • Not made or checked by MemeFamily

The Explore page lists popular coins from across Solana. None of these rules apply to them, and we donโ€™t review them. Coins not verified by Jupiter show an โ€œUnverifiedโ€ warning.

  • Swaps through Jupiter, 0.5% fee

Buys and sells of these coins are routed by Jupiter. MemeFamily adds a 0.5% fee, shown in every quote before you sign.

๐ŸŒ Website protections

  • Limits against spam and attacks

The site limits how fast anyone can send requests, post comments or upload files.

  • Safe uploads

Uploaded images are checked to be real images, and only safe web links are allowed.

  • Secure login with X

Linking your X account uses Xโ€™s official login. We never ask for your password, and never for your wallet seed phrase.

  • Browser security headers

The site sends modern security settings that help block common web attacks.
